I made it to the gym today for a nice full body workout. I am not nearly as sore as I thought I might be after running the 22 miles yesterday. I think it had to do with the route ( not too hilly), and also my post run nutrition. I had my recovery run drink within 30 minutes after I ran ( high carb moderate protein mix). And a nice carb filled lunch with a big salad about 1.5 hours after that. So anyways....I had planned to do a quick 20 minutes of cardio today, but the gym closed! Oh well....
My buddy ( Mary!) and I did another circuit:
Unassisted pull ups ( I can do 4!!--Tina-watch your back..I am coming for ya!!) ;)
DB Front squats
Decline push ups
DB alternating reverse lunges
we went through this twice/ 10 reps
Box Jumps/Box hop overs
we went through this twice/10 reps
We then did the circuit 1 and 2 one more time all the way through for a total of 3 sets for this workout.
