Today was a pretty great day. There was no snow. There was no sleet. There was no rain. There was sun! It was still freezing cold, but somehow the sun made it seem a lot warmer than it actually was.
The group ran 12 miles today. I ended up running between 12.5 and 12.7 miles in all. My GPS went crazy for a minute so I always feel it's better to run more than less! Even if it was only .1 miles more....just the crazy runner mentality!
There are 2 hills on this route, and I swear one is about .5 miles long. It sneaks up on you and just keeps getting steeper and steeper. It's one of those love/hate relationships. It really sucks while doing it, but when it's over it's a great feeling.
